What are the different containers/pots available for plants?
Paramount specifies it's containers using the different lifestyle names furniture stores and designers use in the industry. Any plant we make can be put into any lifestyle group of cantainers. The five main groups Paramount uses are as follows:
* Transitional Clay pots with our signature cafe finish - The reason we classify these pots as transitional is because they go in about 90% of all places in any home in America and Europe. They work great in most design lifestyles and are our biggest seller. Since our company finishes these pots ourselves, a designer can specify a custom finish if it is within our realm of expertise. These pots are also high fired so they don't chip or break easily. The cafe finish is hand-rubbed, giving the finish a durability and panache unlike anything that can be sprayed on. It's takes longer but it's well worth the extra cost.
* Gracious Living Fiberglass Pots - These are more ornate than the clay pots and are the best and heaviest fiberglass we can find. They are not prone to chipping or breaking (like the foam and resin containers) and travel very well in semi trucks. They are more expensive for us to buy but well worth it because of so little problems we have with damage.
*Metro Lifestyle Zinc Containers - These high quality containers are made for the contemporary home and for loft living. We stock them in cafe and ebony slate finishes.
*Pacific Rim Lifestyle Containers - This line of containers is usually a combination of rattan, wood and metal. We don't have a lot of these containers because there simply isn't a lot of real high quality containers out there that meet our specs. We'd like to think tho, the ones we stock, are really bodacious looking ... : ). We can also special order the high fired chinese ceramic pots that have all the art on them.
* Industrial Metal - These are a limited line of stainless steel, nickel finish and gun blue metal containers that go well in industrial and commercial situations.
Note: We have other types of containers for commercial and more detailed uses. Feel free to ask about what is available.
