PIke Place Market in just north of the downtown area of Seattle, Washington
Here is the big sign one can see from Puget Sound announcing the Market.

This is another view of part of Pike Place Market juxtaposed against some of the skyscrapers of downtown Seattle.
.
An interesting sign. The pig seems to be a small theme running through the different areas of the market.

This is a pic of the famous flying fish market that anchors this old public market.

This place gives out samples (as do all the vendors) and some of their products are just outstanding.

And talking about sweets, this very small candy shop, more like a candy room, had some very unusual and high end products. I'm glad I didn't find this little place on a trip when my daughter was with me. : )

Of course, one will always find the Greeks represented with a food stand
.... making my Greek wife very happy.

Russian Piroshkies.
I was surprised at first at the large Russian population in the Seattle area. It appears to me that every seventh person coming into our business in Seattle has a Russian accent.

The most unusual thing I saw in Pike Place Market in all the times I've been there is what is pictured below. I took this pic in the middle of the day and just can't communicate how rare this is to see.
An empty parking space on the street that runs down the middle of Pike Place Market.
