Below are two pictures I took from inside a massive dust storm that hit Phoenix a few nights ago. I was sitting at a freeway exit light in Chandler when I took these pictures and was surprised to find the blowing sand was so thick, I couldn't see beyond the stoplights. The storm made it look like night, even tho there would normally be plenty of light left at this time of day. It reminded me of the storm in the movie, "Hidalgo".
