My wife and I were coming home one Sunday evening in March after visiting our daughter at her boarding school. We were traveling west on I-10 and as we were coming up on Wilcox, we witnessed one of the more spectacular sunsets we've seen in Arizona. What was also so spectacular about this sunset was that it spread all the way across the sky. My camera couldn't take in the breadth and scope of this amazing sight.
All I could say was WOW!
Here's a few more pics of Mt. Graham from the other day when my wife and I were visiting our daughter at school. I woke up and got a pic of the mountain in the morning and then one in the afternoon before we left.
Arizona is just full of views like this and even tho I grew up here and am used to these "sierras", ("views" in spanish) I have never for a moment tired of them or taken them for granted.
Btw. The road going up to the peak of Mt. Graham is the most precarious road in America I've driven on to date.

Taken from the back porch of a client's home. This was one of the top 3 sunsets I've ever seen in Arizona.
The picture doesn't do the sunset half the justice it deserves. The whole sky was filled with unbelievable color.
Below is another picture I took out the window of a plane I was on when traveling back from northern California to Phoenix.
Again, the picture only captured a small part of the spectacular colors coming off the wing.

Here's a pic of the the Colorado River which is the border between Arizona and Nevada just south of the Hoover Dam on the Arizona side looking west.
I you look close you can see the palm trees next to the river where there is a small beach. Spectacular view with the overcast cloud cover and shadows it creates in the mountains. I can't wait til I can purchase a panaramic lens for my camera.
